Rule Of The Few

Did you hear about the hospital administrator in Texas who had her Amercian flag taken down because it was offensive?  Yeah, even in Texas apparently.  I assure you this is not an isolated incident.  I've had the same thing happen to me.  

How have we come to the place in this country that one person's displeasure dictates the rules?  A free society with freedom of expression by its very nature requires that someone be uncomfortable at all times.  It is not reasonably possible to please everyone all the time.

You have the freedom to voice your opposition to whatever you dislike.  You have the freedom to express your own opinion, loyalty, etc.  However, we are now living in a culture that is not content with the freedom of expression but requires opression of expression if anyone feels offended.  That is not freedom.  It's not even close to freedom.  If we can't let another person express something that offends us or we disagree with, we can not live in a free society.  It's that simple.
