Not Technically A Lie

This morning, I saw a video from CNN's John King's USA and came away with a couple of interesting aspects. First, what is going on at CNN? Is that an anchor actually asking hard questions of an Obama administration official? OK..maybe moderately difficult questions. Somewhere, Ted Turner just blew a gasket.

Second, the Obama administration has been overrun by lawyers the way a filthy kitchen can be overrun by cockroaches. With much the same result. King is questioning Obama's senior advisor (and chief tall tale teller) David Axelrod about Joe Sestak's allegation that the administration tried to bribe him to drop out of Pennsylvania's Democratic primary.

Notice in Axelrod's answer he never says it didn't happen or that Sestak is lying. Instead he says there is "no evidence" of it. Also notice when he utters that phrase, how much emphasis is on the word "evidence". Even professional liars have tells. He also completely avoids ever answering any of the questions King asks directly.

Finally, maybe I've been watching too much "Lie To Me" but when Axelrod assures King there will be no unanswered questions, he nods his head in the affirmative. He's saying no there won't be unanswered questions but he means yes there will, if the administration has its way.

You tell it like it is! When they can't answer legitimately they "divert the truth" or change the subject.

Don't know how you watch these liberal stations who want us to think we are too dumb to interpret the news for ourselves, but glad you do - AND, interpret THEM - for people like me!
