AFL-CIO = Private Sector Politicians

The AFL-CIO yesterday called for the Obama administration to nationalize our country's banks.  They did so from the plush Fontainebleau hotel in Miami where the cheapest room is $400 per night.  This proves a long held assertion of mine:  Most union leaders today have totally lost touch with the workers they are supposed to represent.

They're first priority is holding on the positions, power and privileges they enjoy.  They are, in essence, private sector politicians.  Say the right things to make people think you care, take their money and use it as you see fit.  They have become the very people the unions were formed to fight against.
