This is of course Audi's Super Bowl "Green Police" commercial. It would have been really funny if it weren't so close to the truth. Before I go further, let me say I am all for being responsible with our environment. Recycling makes sense. However, I don't believe "global warming" or "climate change" is going to kill us all.
David Roberts at "The Grist" while generally approving of the ad said that it wasn't "just another pot-shot at environm entalists". Really? Cry me a river. The "greens" have been so embraced by the main stream media they can hardly ask for sympathy. You can't watch a sitcom anymore without some reference to saving the planet.
This to me is just another example of how those who see themselves as morally superior because of whatever position they hold can not take any criticism at all. This is what happens when movements come not out of thought and reason but feeling good about yourself and superior to others.
