Alice In Wonderland?

Over the past two days I've seen the most incredible "reasoning" to explain how Americans are going to suddenly embrace the health care takeover perpetrated by the Obama administration and Congress. One writer glowingly reported that those who strongly supported the bill had swelled to 25% in a recent poll. Really? A quarter of the population and you're happy about it?

Logic says that Democrats face an electoral firing squad come November. However, as I read today that Bart Stupack's stunning reversal on Sunday may have had more to do with the three quarters of a million dollars in grants his district received two days before from the Obama administration, I wonder. Another coincidence, surely.

Do the Democrats perhaps have a plan none of us know about to pull off and election night win? I don't think so, but when they're willing to buy votes right under our noses, how can we be sure? One thing is certain, those of us who love liberty and respect the Constitution had better keep a sharp eye on these politicians who have repeatedly shown they can't be trusted even for a moment.
